"Beautiful vintage receiver"

Introduced in 1976, this was the low-end unit of the Pioneer total silver line, with 15 watts per channel. It sounds great at moderate power levels - distortion is imminent when volume levels too high. Good FM-reception with very clear sound. I give it a high rating mainly because it looks so darn nice, especially at night in its warm, glowing light.
