4 out of 5 "a decent amp"
We drive two Mission 782 floorstanders with this amp, and apart from the phono stage ( below par when compared to other phono stages like Quad's 34) this amp is quite nice. Our son, who owns the same amp, drives Sonics Animas with this amp. Overall this amp appears to be quite neutral, with some airy feel, although the soundstage is more in front of you then placed into the room. When partnered with Pioneers D6 CDP, there is not too much more you could ask for. Double mono circuit well made, and not too expensive. Good effort from Pioneer coming back into 2 channel stereo. Runs warm even when left on standby!
