This speaker has incredible detail and imaging. Well suited for HT or music. Low end specs are accurate, you may want to use a subwoofer if you want more bass. That said, the bass is very tight for a ported speaker,not boomy as you might expect. I recommend employing the "run in" technique the manufacturers say is necessary. It calmed the high end considerably and extended the low end a bit. Overall, I am thrilled to have pair of these. I listened to paradigm, focal, energy, martin Logan, and B&w before deciding on these. Well worth what I paid and beyond.
