5 out of 5 "Compact sub the packs a punch"
Only slightly larger than the REL Quake, the Q150E is a much better performer. I've used it for home cinema and it does an exceptional job. I am now using it alongside my Hi-Fi speakers and it really opens up the music.

Drums have more kick, bass lines are enhanced but the midrange and treble are not influenced by the sub's presence resulting in seamless integration and natural sound. The trick is not to crank the cut-off too high and adjust the volume so the warmth of the bass just appears. This way everything is kept under control and avoids boomy bass and muddy mid-ranges. A perfect partner for bookshelf speakers.

My ratings: Home Cinema - 5, Hi-Fi - 5. A great all-rounder.
