Just heard this amp paired with Pioneer CS-609 and I was hugely surprised. What a warm and full bodied sound it has! I think modern systems are engineered to provide less satisfaction for a high price. Highly recommended if you can spot one in the used market. It blows away my marantz 5001 / PM6002 amp / Jamo C 405 floorstanders for sure.
