I have this Thorens since 1989. Its a fine turntable according to its price and you get value for money. It is mounted with an Ortofon 10 mc super element which gives a warm and smooth sound. I think you can gain more quality with a Ortofon 15 but further I would not go because you will then reach the limits of this turntable.
