5 out of 5 "A genius amplifier!"
There is NO other integrated amplifier on the market today that is as well thought out as this machine - price be damned!

The amplifier itself is fast acting, with a decent toroid transformer and high quality caps. It reminds you of why you like to listen to music in the first place. God it sounds good!

I love their simple approach to connecting two sets of switchable speakers (A and B, or both). This works far better to a complicated "Zone" set up found in other amps today. Want sound in another room? Just hook up another set of speakers and turn the switch. Seriously, why do other companies feel the need to re-invent the wheel just to send sound to another room in the house?

Then there's the built-in DAC. If your source is a media computer, it will handle the digital signal of hi-res recordings directly! If you have a CD player with an older DAC and digital output, you can give it new life by sending the signal through the RA-12! If you want to stream, it has bluetooth! If you want to physically attach an ipod, USB drive, etc ... there is a slot on the front! If you take the next step and connect this amp (just calling it an "amp" really does this piece of equipment an injustice) to its RT-12 partner, it takes things to a whole new level of connectivity, source selection and controllability.

I don't work for Rotel, nor is it the only brand of audio gear I own. I'm just flat out impressed by what this has done for my system and listening pleasure for such a bargain basement price.
