"Philips FR140"

Had one of these since the mid 80s as it still functions perfectly and produces a great sound either when listening to FM radio or when used as an amplifier with my Sony stand alone CD player. As a setup used in my attic study it works extremely well.
Not bad for 40 year old equipment.

"FR140"

Perfect set.
Used it as from 1990 daily with SABA speaker set (Low Ohm).
Looking for similar set now with pre-set senders.

"PHILIPS FR140 receiver: my first hifi sistem"

This receiver has a good decent sound despite the cheap plastic case.
I have it since 1985 and never fault me. Although, need to be associated with good speakers.
Good tuner reception in FM with a correct antenna.
(Reviewed in 2011).
