"Very very good"

I got a used pair for 50€ at least 12 years ago. They are excellent speakers, very natural and dynamic.

Voices are very good, still they sport a good bass. Very good image. The only "bad" thing in that the higher frequencies could be a little harsh depending from the amp.

I used them in several ways, even as a near field monitor for recording. I used them with a Naim Nait I amp, an Arcam A60, a NAD 3120, a Linn Majik, or a Revox Receiver.

After some years of dismission I thought to give them away to a friend but I changed idea when I reconnected the to test they still would work.

Now they work as Front channel fora an HT big Marantz Receiver, and they work fine.

"absolutely musical"

I owned those speakers from 1986 until 2006, and they never let me down. I paired them with Quad 34/306 and it was a marriage from heaven. This combination was crackingly good, and left many of my audiophile friends leaving our flat in disbelief. It didn't matter what you threw at them, at the end they returned only music, in a very touching and emotional way. The best combo I ever owned. Highly regarded!
